Baby Mozart

I love to play the piano! I have played since I was 5 years old and I am so HAPPY to see that my love of music is already starting to rub off on Meredith. In the past month or so, Meredith has started to show a ton of interest in the piano. My little diva is already holding little concerts for mommy and you should see how proud of herself she is when I applaud. Sooooo cute! I just hope this budding love of music continues...I'm keeping my fingers crossed!!

Old friends & new friends

My good friend Emiko came into town this week for a visit. It was fun catching up with her and fun to watch Meredith and little Aerick get to know each other. We grabbed Wahoo's (of course!) and went to the park for a bit before heading over to my place. It was so nice seeing them, we wish we could see them more often!!

Sadie Rae Holmes

Who doesn't love newborns? They are so sweet and perfect! We are so happy to say that Julie and Russell had a healthy little girl last night around 10 o'clock. She was almost 9 pounds...and I'm still in shock that little Julie had such a big baby! We are so glad things went well and there were no complications! Here are 2 pictures that Russell sent out...we'll post more after we get the chance to see her in person next week!

The Adventures of Babysitting

I have been babysitting a bit this past week. Chase Lucas & Jonas Bunnell came over to play with us last week and Jordan Norwood came over to play today. Meredith has had so much fun...hopefully she will be this happy if she ever gets a little brother or sister!

BABY ROY!!!!

Hooray!!!!!! Our niece, Leah, FINALLY had her little boy today. Baby Roy came at 2:30 this afternoon. He weighed in at 8 lbs 3 oz (just like Meredith) and 20 inches long. I was lucky enough to go and visit him tonight at the hospital. He is the cutest little guy. He definitely looks like his daddy, but I'm pretty sure he has mommy's nose. :)

What a good little mommy!

Meredith has obviously been paying attention! Recently she has really started to become a little mommy. She has a favorite doll, cat & dog and she wants to take her "little babies" with her everywhere. She feeds them and holds them and pretends to dance with them...she also rocks them to sleep. So cute!! It is so crazy to realize how much our little ones

actually pay attention and learn from us! Come on baby, take a bite...it's yummy, I promise!

Grandma Time

We went to visit Grandma and Grandpa last Sunday after church. Now that Meredith is getting older she is finally not quite so clingy to me...which is great because it means that I get a break and grandma gets more snuggle time. It's a win-win situation!!!

Randezvous at Wahoo's

On Friday night, we decided it would be nice to walk downtown and eat at Wahoo's. We met up with the Lucas' and Blad's while we were there. It was fun to watch all the little ones interact together. We went down to the pier to catch the photography exibit, Illume...but the kids were too tired to make it to sunset. Oh well!! We did get to watch the sunset at the beach, it could be worse. :) Anna, Meredith, Chase & Lucas
