I guess they can't stay babies forever!

Well, it finally happened. My baby is growing up. I don't know how it all happened so fast, but before my very eyes my baby has transformed into a toddler. Okay, maybe not quite a toddler, but she's sure headed in that direction fast. Just in the last few weeks she has started to crawl and just this past Wednesday...this pearly white showed up. Her first tooth! We took pics to prove it!

First love...

Dave, Felicia & Jake Voss came to visit us from Arizona this past weekend. We had a lot of fun and as you can tell from the pictures, the two kids got quite attached. Jake gave Meredith a little kiss on the cheek...and Meredith even gave Jake a hug. You gotta love it!

Meredith has learned to play with her hair while she sleeps and one afternoon I went to get her from her nap and her hair was sticking up. It was so cute I had to take pictures. Note that I did help this mohawk along a bit!

Lobster, Red Sox & Old Friends

I love Boston...and the only thing that I love more than Boston are my friends from Boston! My friends Mike & Elaine Qualter came to visit us this last week! It was SO great to see them again! Elaine and I have been friends since we were 12 years old, growing up on the outskirts of Boston. I have many, many fond...crazy memories of our childhood together. I'm so glad they were able to visit and finally meet Robert & Meredith!

Cousins!

Here are some pictures of Meredith with her cousins Thomas and Lucy. Meredith is about 4 months older than Thomas and I'm sure they are going to have a lot of fun together as they get older. Can you tell which one of the pair is going to be the crazy one?

Due to some very hot weather, Meredith finally had her first dip in a pool. She was a bit nervous at first, but as long as mom or dad held her close, she seemed to really like it!

Meredith finally got a taste of "real" food on Saturday! Sweet potatoes were the chosen food...and luckily for us, Meredith gobbled up every last bite! After the daily battle getting her to eat rice cereal, sweet potatoes are heaven sent! Here are some pics!

Meredith loves to play! She loves to eat, too! She'll pretty much eat everything she can get her hands on, but her favorite thing to eat are her toes! :)
