We took Meredith to Disneyland on Friday for the first time! It was her special treat for finally being potty trained! She wanted to bring Chase with her, so luckily the Lucas family was able to come with us. It was a really fun day for everyone! Meredith was a bit unsure on some of the rides, since she really didn't know what to expect and she doesn't like really loud noises...but, she has already asked to go back to Disneyland several times since Friday! So, I think she liked it anyway! On Saturday, while I was at Women's Conference, daddy took her out to eat. On the way home she said, "Daddy, don't go home...let's go to Disneyland!" Pretty cute! I'm sure we'll go again someday!
For those of you that love SYTYCD as much as I do...I actually saw Chelsie, Gev, Courtney, Katie & Joshua at Disneyland. It was pretty fun to see them. I saw Gev, Courtney and Chelsie walking into Splash Mountain and I walked right by Katie and Joshua coming out of Space Mountain! I said "hi" to Katie and Joshua, but that was it. I didn't want to bug...they looked like they were trying to lay low and just have fun. :)
One more sidenote...since Sunday, Meredith has decided she no longer wants to be potty trained anymore...4 accidents in 24 hours...on purpose! She was in underwear for almost a month and suddently accidents?? Anyone have advice?? Grrrr!

I'm addicted!
I love my girls so much...and it is so much fun to take pictures of them! I've always loved photography, but I recently have decided that I really need to figure out how to use my camera and get more serious about it. I don't have time for a class right now, but I'm excited to read a book that has been recommended to me. Plus, I'm planning to buy a new lens! Woohoo! I've been wanting this 50mm lens for awhile and thanks to my cousin, Marisa, I'm now convinced that I HAVE to have one! I also have to thank Marisa for recommending a great website that has shown me how to do a few simple things in photoshop...so addicting! I think I could spend all day playing on photoshop! Unfortunately, I don't have all day...but I do find time occassionally to play around! Today I decided I wanted to practice taking pics...and my girls were forced to be my subjects. Meredith was having a hard time holding still, but we still somehow managed to take some dang cute shots! I'm so lucky she puts up with me and my obsession with taking pictures! I love that girl! Anyhow, here are some of my favorite pictures from our little photo shoot today.

Mara was in town for another few days...so on Thursday night, the girls decided to have a girls night out! It was FABULOUS! We met up at the shops at Mission Viejo and ate at the Cheesecake Factory...yum! A big thank you to my wonderful husband for watching Meredith so I could get out and relax...and another big thank you to my cousin keith...and my uncle and aunt for watching the farnsworth kiddies down in carlsbad! I still wish I could have hung out with my cousin more, a few hours every two years is definitely not enough, but I'm just glad I got to see you, Mara! Love you!!

Old MacDonald had a farm...
Most of you already know what an animal-lover Meredith is, so you will understand why she was SO EXCITED when she found out she was going to visit a farm with her buddy, Chase. Sherri and I took the kids over to Centennial Farms yesterday to visit all the animals. The kids had so much fun looking at...petting...and even kissing all the gross, dirty animals! :) Chase and Meredith were both telling this cute little kid (aka baby goat) that they loved him. It was so cute! Meredith was literally in tears when I finally tore her away from him to wash up and go home! I don't think she'll forget about her new little friend either, because she has already asked me if she can go and visit him again today. I don't think I'm up for another trip to the farm today, but definitely soon!
