1 month old

It's true, Nora is 1 month old today! Here are a few pictures of our sweet little 1 month old!

Just for fun...

Robert and I finally had a few minutes to take some pictures of sweet Nora! I thought I would share...since she is just SO stinkin' cute! (Sorry, I just can't help myself!) :)

She is such a great baby, it is so fun having her around! The poor thing does have a bit of a cold (SO SAD!)...but luckily it is mild and hopefully it will go away as quickly as it came! I'm not sure how or where or when she got it, but it makes me feel so bad! I thought since she was born in the summer she would be nice and healthy for at least a few months until the fall came...guess I was wrong! It's kind-of ironic, since Meredith was born in January...in the middle of flu season...and she never got sick (not once!) until she was almost a year old! Oh well! Hopefully this will be the last time Nora is sick for awhile!!

We went to the doctor today...partially for her 1 month check-up and also to make sure her cold hadn't gone into her sinuses or chest (luckily she was fine!). They weighed and measured her and she is 8lbs 12oz and 22 inches long! She was under 7lbs when we left the hospital, so she is doing great! 75% for height and 50% for weight! Yeah!

Growing up fast!

It is probably a bit early to be feeling this way, but I seriously wish I could slow down the "growing-up" process already! Nora is almost 3 weeks old (this Thursday) and I already feel like she is growing up too fast. I just want to enjoy this newborn stage a little bit longer...although, I am looking forward to sleeping again! :)

Nora is such a sweet baby and we love having her in our family! We wanted to post a few pics from the last couple of weeks since she has joined us!

HB 4th!

There are lots of things that we love about living in huntington beach...including the fourth of july! This year we went to our friend's home on main street to enjoy the parade and to enjoy some good bbq! Thank you, Hixson's! As you can see from the pictures we all had a really great time...especially Meredith!
