Miss Smartie Pants

You're never too young to start playing "dress-up", right? :) Meredith and I had our first session together a few days ago. I'm sure this is just the first of many!!

Clean baby!

Who doesn't love a baby straight from the bath? I can't get enough of Meredith after bathtime...she smells so good!! Yum!!

8.5 Months...

Meredith is 8.5 months old in these pics. I know I sound like a broken record, but I really can't believe how fast she is growing up. She is such a sweet baby and I can't help but take a million pictures of my little angel. Here are just a few of my favorites...

Just having fun...

My sweet little one!

Tired, tired baby!

Naptime

I decided that it would be fun to put Meredith in swimming lessons. Here are some pictures from our very first swimming class. I guess it isn't the best idea to sign up for swimming lessons when they are in the middle of naptime. Meredith was so tired, the poor thing fell asleep on my shoulder in the pool!

Surf City, USA

Okay, so we might not own a house...or have a yard...but living in Surf City does have some benefits! I mean...instead of the backyard, we do have the beach! Who can complain about that?? Here are some pics of us & little Meredith at the beach!

Never long enough

Grandpa & Grandma Morejon came to visit again! Meredith had so much fun spending time with them. She doesn't get to see them very often and when they come and visit, it is never long enough! We miss you Papi & Tutti!!!!

Kickin' back in the Lazyboy!

Meredith was hanging out in Grandpa Holmes' rocking chair the other day. As you can see...she had a lot of fun!

The best things in life are free

Being a new mother, I am constantly learning new things. Like a few weeks ago I realized that I should probably stop spending money buying toys for Meredith since she would rather play in a cardboard box than play with any "baby" toys. A new toy will keep her attention for all of 1-2 minutes...but for some reason she is happy sitting in a cardboard box for 4 or 5 times that long! The best things in life really are free. (thank goodness!)
